The Deep Dark Web

This has been a long time coming and I am sorry to all those who love the DDW like I did and played on the server and kept it alive for all the time that it has been so.

As many of you are aware, myself and Dougal absolutely LOVE running the community and the servers. Unfortunately, we just have fallen out of love with Garry's Mod. Since the dawn of time / dawn of Garry's Mod / dawn of when Web got Garry's Mod because he had nothing else to do and ran into this litle prick who didn't like him because of his voice, we played Garry's Mod religiously for many months. We set up this community and I hit 2000 hours whilst Dougal hit 1000. I guess when you play the game for that long, and do nothing else but work on and with the game, you fall out of love with it and whilst it is extremely unfortunate there is nothing we can do to reverse it.

I, myself, am finding enjoyment in other games. I am playing CS:GO a hell of a lot more and just love playing more competitively in comparison to playing for fun (competitive is fun for me). Dougal has been sorting his life out and I am hoping to do the same soon. When we both have our lives sorted, we will also be lacking time and that means the community is not something that we can run.

We have looked into throwing the community over to other people, and have spoke to people about it. The people we asked opinions on the idea said that they would not want anyone running 'DDW' specifically as DDW is myself and Dougal. I do not view it like that, I view it as EVERYONE, but we can not help other people's perceptions.

I apologise to all those whom love this community, we will all be around and will play together still. We will STILL be a community, but will not host our own servers. I hope you all understand.
