Unable to Complete Purchases In-App

Attempting to purchase brings me to the steam guard account verification, but does not return me to the payment window. This is a loop and games cannot be purchased in the app

Having this same exact problem. I kept trying so much that I had been temporarily locked out due to too many failed auth attempts

Same, i tried to use guard recovery code as well. The page wanted a 7digit, recovery code and temp codes are 6 and 5 respectively. There is no way to put an incomplete number in. I'm fully logged in on the app and just can't finish the purchase. This is unexceptable. A webapp would be working better than this

But I think it's because the app swaps to the auth page automatically, which either causes the login to fail or stop. Eitherway it loads for a sec and then asks you to put in your login. Best way to fix is to not use this app for purchases. So in otherwords don't use the app except as an over glorified auth app.

Same issue. Kinda bummed as I'm away from my PC for a week and was going to get a gift on sale for a friend, sale ends before I get home.
I'll keep playing with it for a bit and if anything works I'll post back in here.

Same issue here, attempted to purchase multiple gifts, I get sent back to the login screen after approving the steam guard.

I also tried adding balance to the wallet, same issue.

Essentialy can't issue any type of payment via the phone.

I am also having the same problem I have cleared cache on both phone and tablet, I also changed authenticator to the tablet, tried purchasing and authorized the authenticator and then it boots me back to the sign in screen. I am at a loos and find it frustrating.
I'm on app ver. 3.9.3
