Game: Bejeweled 2 Deluxe + almost all Popcap Game Framework games
Other recording software: N/A

Normal gameplay results in only the bottom recording. Turning off hardware acceleration does not fix the problem.

I have noted this happening with other Popcap Framework games, too, for example, Peggle does not record video and big money deluxe does not record at all.
