Voice cutting issue with new recording feature, noise suppression enabled by default ?

I'm having an issue with the new recording system.
When I record both audio and video simultaneously, my voice cuts out repeatedly. It seems like noise and echo suppression are enabled by default.

I can reproduce the issue by going into the Steam client’s voice settings and enabling both noise and echo suppression.

To clarify, when I use the "Start Microphone Test" button with noise and echo suppression disabled, I hear myself without any interruptions.

It seems like the voice system in the voice settings menu and the one in the REC menu function independently.

The problem is that there’s no option to disable noise suppression in the REC menu.

Is anyone else experiencing this as well?

Idk if its the same but mine is like a WW2 microphone. Cuts mid sentences and loud.
