Prism Launcher doesn't record the actual game, just the launcher

I'm sure this isn't the only application this is a problem with, but the Prism Launcher third-party application doesn't record Minecraft properly when playing. Instead, the recording is just a black screen, presumably because the application initially starts as a launcher for the game. Even after closing the launcher, the recording remains black with only audio being recorded from the game.
