(Windows 11) No game audio in recording.

When recording gameplay/saving clips, the video contains no audio from the game. its really strange because it does record audio from Steam (Achievements, Steam overlay, etc)
I've tried every setting I can find but nothing really works. The closest I got was it recording my microphone which would occasionally pick up sound from my speakers.

I talked to Steam support and they said i'm SOL, and every post i see talking about this either says something about drivers or Steam beta. I've tried different settings and versions of my drivers and nothing worked, and i have no idea how to get Steam beta.

Have you tried moving to the beta branch of steam? I don't know if I had a similar issue, but I had no game audio except if I chose "All System Audio" option. But now it's fixed when I'm in the beta branch.

To switch to the Steam beta, click on the steam icon in the top left of the client and click on settings.
From there, select Interface, select Beta Update under Join Client Beta, and you'll be switched to the beta after restarting.
This is the only way I know, so I'm sorry if you've already tried this and it didn't work...
