Unable to play recording with HEVC codec inside on Steam (Overlay) chat on Arch Linux.

The sequence of what happened and what you observed: Friend recorded video using HEVC codec and sent me on steam chat and I couldn't open it. Friend then tried turning off HEVC and sending the video and this video I could watch from steam chat.

I forgot to mention that he tried to export HEVC coded video and I can open it normally since I have x265 package installed so the issue is that the Steam is not using it, not that I don't have it on my PC.

I have the same issue. I have the `x265` package on my system, latest steam. In the settings GPU accelerated webview and video decoding are enabled, I have an AMD GPU (Radeon 7900XTX).

When I try to view a recording playback, I get a black screen with an endless spinner.
