The audio and video are out of sync.
The video recorded using Steam Recording has synchronized audio and video when viewed locally after export, but the video and audio are out of sync when imported into the editing software. I am sure this happened after an update, and there was no problem with the video I recorded before.

same

The audio is exactly 2 seconds out of sync. if you have clips you want to fix you can download ffmpeg and run the following command

ffmpeg -i "input.mp4" -itsoffset 2 -i "input.mp4" -map 1:v -map 0:a -c copy "output.mp4"

alternatively just download kdenlive/davinci resolve and use that

after you get any clips you want exported I think you need to nuke your recording to fix it.. I had same issue after I had a BSOD while recording once, and it made my recording useless..

Well, this didn't work for me, I tried delaying from 0.25 seconds to 2 seconds and the track only worked at the beginning and never synced afterwards.

also getting this issue. appears to be some problem in the exporting phase. some frames get dropped randomly and intermittently which pretty much breaks your recording. this seems more common the longer, and high quality your recording is. The only way I found around it is to keep exporting until you don't get any dropped frames.

no this happens with no exporting

hmm. only happens to me when I'm exporting.
