Game recording errors out when recording to secondary hard drive

As noted in the title, game recording encounters an error in every single game, after some amount of time - randomly varies from a minute or so, up to a little over half an hour. The footage it captures looks fine, and I've tried a variety of different settings.

The one and only setting that makes a difference is whether I'm recording to my C drive or not. It seems to work just fine when I record to my main drive, but starts having this random error on any other drive.

This kind of sucks because my C drive is a smaller SSD, and the secondary hard drive I want to record to has 4 TB of storage. Anyone have a fix?
