Steam Game Recording Needs a Global Disable Option! Why is it Forced On? Here's Why That's a Problem (SUGGESTION)

Currently, we cannot disable Steam Game Recording for all games. The only option for "All Other Games" is a minimum Recording Duration of 5 mins plus Quality Low.

I only wish to record CS2 with Steam Game Recording because OBS Studio is blacklisted, unless you run the game with the command "-allow_third_party_software", which potentially affects Trust Factor.

I understand we can add games manually and select the "Do Not Record" option (which says Steam will never record this game. Recording hotkeys disabled), but this is tedious to add for every installed game, and any other games I plan on purchasing in the future

Under "Game-Specific Settings", I have added CS2 with a Length of 120 minutes at Ultra Quality, and the Game Recording menu says it will take 21.6-45GB Disk Space (which is good).

Under "All Other Games", there is no option to disable Recordings & Rec. Hotkeys.

If I select "Recording Off" at the very top of the page and RIght Click on the game in my Steam Library, even though it says the Background Recording is "Enabled", it will not record because this option overrides it?

If anybody knows a workaround or if I overlooked something, please lmk

Agree me too, the "All Other Games" should have all three options it too :

Recording Duration
> "x Minutes"
> "Infinite"
> "Do Not Record"

After 2 weeks of experimenting with this software, I have also frequently encountered a recording error when alt-tabbing. I wonder if this feature is actively being worked on still or if it's going to be abandoned like Steam Music shortly after the release announcement..

i set other games to low quality and 5 minute that way at least dont use alot
