Not recording discord incoming chat even when capturing all system audio
I've used this new recording and been happy with it. Everything worked fine. But then I decided to uninstall Steelseries GG since I don't need it anymore for recording. I wound up losing my incoming chat audio. I capture the whole system audio, but the incoming voice in Discord is not recording at all. My own mic is captured and discord is working fine otherwise.

I suspect this has something to do with Windows Audio drivers. Steelseries GG installs new virtual audio drivers which reroute and edit discord and game sounds. When I removed these drivers with Steelseries GG, something went wrong.

I have tried the following:
a) Opting out and in of the beta
b) Reinstalled Steelseries GG to restore the virtual audio drivers - no improvement
c) Changing capture sound from "all system audio" to "specific programs" and back

Version of steam: 1722028579
The model of your computer's graphics card: 4080 Super
Your graphics driver version: 560.70
What game you were playing: CS2
Any other game recording software you are also using: Used to use Steelseries GG
The sequence of what happened and what you observed: see above

Having same issue, did you ever find a fix?

Sadly not. I just stopped recording non-game audio all together. Shame!

Does your headset have voice/game audio split between two devices in Windows? If so, are you using that feature or sending Discord audio to the same device that the game is using?
I guess it's back to using nVidia ShadowPlay until this gets fixed.. Good to know it's not an issue with my computer though :)
I'm having the same issue, its completely random too. Sometimes it records all the system audio (HellDivers 2, My Mic, Discord) and sometimes its only my mic & game audio,
having the same issue, anyone managed to fix this ?

I think the problem was Logitech's software in my case. I reinstalled the drivers & software and it fixed the issue for me.

Hey guys! I was trying to find a solution for this issue as well with no avail, unfortunately. However, I have found a temporary workaround: I am currently using Steelseries GG software for mic settings and stuff with all those virtual drivers created, and I managed to finally hear incoming sounds from my friend in Discord, but for this I had to use a browser version instead of an application. Maybe someone will find this userful. Note: just make sure that either Chrome is chosen in the list of allowed applications in Steam recording settings or simply use the "All system" option.
