Shortcut Button to auto-clip last X seconds when background recording

It would be much simpler for those who do not wish to spend time editing a gameplay video if we could, while recording in background, press a button to create a clip of the last X seconds that were recorded in background. With of course, the possibility of changing this X value to anything up to the max background size.
This would remove the need to do some video editing, and is good enough for most people that just want to save and share some content with their friends and family and are not super concerned with a great quality video cut.
If it's not possible to create the cuts while in game, or if that's not good for performance, than this could be set as some scheduled auto-clipping option, that after you exit the game, and go to the recording, it would then create the clips without having to do anything else.

I agree with this. I enjoy using Game Bar to record clips of dumb stuff I do in games but it tends to not work 100% of the time. I'm loving this Game Recording feature in Steam but it does take extra time for me to go back through the recording (which I have set to 6 hours as I have long gaming sessions a lot of the time) and find the markers I made and get it clipped properly. I would still like to have the full background recording but getting some quick clips would save me a lot of time. The clips could also show in the timeline of the full background recording to help track activities happening.
