NVIDIA Broadcast microphone issue
I use NVIDIA Broadcast for my microphone. In the rest of the system and other applications such as Discord, the sound is recorded correctly. But Steam Game Recording records sound from the microphone with problems. Sometimes the sound from the microphone is interrupted. If I speak at normal volume, the sound is recorded normally, but in the evening or at night, as a rule, I speak half as quietly and then the sound from the microphone is not recorded at all, although in any other application everything is fine.

Platform: Windows 10
Graphics Card: RTX 3060 12gb
Driver version: 556.12
NVIDIA Broadcast version: 1.4.0.29

I solved the problem with recording sound with a quiet voice. In Steam itself, in the voice settings, you just had to turn off echo and noise cancellation, turn off automatic volume/gain control, and also make the input volume/gain slider a little larger. But the problem with intermittent, laggy sound remains.

Thank you, I was trying to figure out why no one can hear me when I play on Steam. It gets frustrating after a while

Glad I could help someone.:8bitheart:

It's a pity that the problem with the intermittent sound remained despite the fact that the game recording was already released

I also did something else. Alt Z, Settings cog, audio, then turn up any sliders that might not be right. One of mine was all the way down before.

Disabling all the additionals like noise suppresion etc and also turning my mic up in steam seems to have worked but will require further testingfor me
