Mouse Cursor Choppy
When playing Balatro the game itself looks nice and smooth. The mouse however is smooth in real life but in the recording it is super choppy.

Anyone else have this issue with Balatro and the mouse or even other games.

Edit* I have found that it seems to be specifically when the mouse is using windows mouse directly (the mouse is just the normal mouse with no changes). If the game itself has a mouse they render it is fine.

Also it seems like when I launch games that have EAC window first the game audio does not record when the actual game window comes up and it is silent.

Doesn't seem to be choppy here, but I have seen two other things in clips, related to the pointer:
  • multiple images persisting for a short time (related to the game not providing new frames for display, so presumably not a bug);
  • the pointer shape sometimes being corrupted (incorrect width being used, resulting in distortion; this is consistent when it happens).
(Linux/X, Mesa 24.1 driving navi23, VAAPI via Vulkan. Live pointer display is via hardware overlay.)
