Bug(?): Microphone channel is stuck to one side
Platform: Windows 11
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060 (12GB VRAM)
Graphics Driver Version: 555.99
Games played: Battlebit Remastered and Counter-Strike 2
Any other game recording software?: No; Discord would be the closest one, but I wasn't streaming.
Observation: With the recorder set up to record my microphone, all input that is made is set to one channel in stereo (the left channel to be precise). Of note is that I use a Rode NT-1 connected to a Behringer UMC-22 audio interface, which in other audio programs (e.g. Audacity) will mix the microphone to the left channel if set to stereo channel settings.
Possible fix to this is handle Microphone input to be mixed down into mono rather than using stereo.

Same problem here, some people are saying that if u go to audio settings and then select ur input > advanced and change the channel from 2 to one it will fix the issue but it didn’t work for me

Motu M2 user, also getting left channel only. There's no option to mix to mono :(

I'm using an Audient iD4 MKI interface and have the same issue, and yeah this should be considered a bug/missing feature. Either it should downmix stereo inputs to mono or allow for the option to do so. Audio interfaces with multiple inputs, especially ones with one mic and one instrument input, internally share a stereo signal, left channel being the mic and right channel the instrument/second mic/whatever else. Seems like an oversight due to how complicated audio gear can be.

Can confirm this, Hel 2 user here. The setting cannot be changed in Windows directly and even if so, it wouldn't be exactly the preferred solution. Having the input be mono by default or having the option to set it would be great.
