I'm also having this issue. I have also tried selecting which applications to record audio from (Discord + Game) and it picks up everything except my own mic. :/

After updating, if you can still reproduce this issue, please let us know, along with any sound config information that might be useful. thanks!
Seems to be working fine on my end now thanks!
I'd personally like an option to disable game audio capture outright, and have an option to "Capture Microphone only"
Since I have a mixamp through which I already do the audio mixing (game capture included), so I'd like to record that mic output, if it were possible in the future.
The microphone works now, though it seems to cut out a lot.
I have tried setting my input volume/gain to maximum, leaving it as open microphone, turning off voice transmission threashold, disabling echo and noise cancellation, as well as turning off automatic volume/gain control, all just lead to words that either don't get picked up or cut out entirely.

My voice works entirely fine in Discord calls and when using the microphone test in the voice settings of Steam.
I would add an option to separate the tracks too. This way you always have access to both and can easily swap to whichever you need, or just mix them both.
