Audio sounds low in game recordings.
Tested multiple games and for some reason the audio sounds low (all my system sounds and volume sliders are at 100% volume) compared to what I normally hear when playing.

Is there a known fix for this because I'm losing my mind.

Same problem here. Checked in OBS, the volume levels are fine there, as i would expect, but in the Steam Game Recordings its way too low for some reason.

Found the solution. In windows Volume Mixer i had the Steam app lowered. Put it back up to a decent level or max level and the game sounds come back with it. It seems like somehow the recording didn't take the volume of the game but the volume of the Steam app, I'm guessing it's connected to the Steam overlay somehow.

lowering steam in volume mixer makes every sound that steam plays quieter, including recordings. the game itself will be recorded at the volume it's set to, but if you watch the recording through steam it will be played at the same volume steam is set to play at in volume mixer.

For me it's not the issue, i already had it to max, i sent the clip to several people and everyone hears it extremely low , when i was recording i was blasting my ears in the process

can you hear your headphones from across the room when at max volume like mine? i always have my games at 20 percent in mixer because of that, but steam still records them properly because the ingame audio settings are still high.
