Suggestion: Add the ability to capture only game audio, or discord & game audio.

I currently use a program to record my game play called Medal and it has the option to capture all audio from my system, or game audio only, or game audio & discord only. It's very useful because I can play music and not worry about it being in any clips I capture.

Record your games, not your desktop.
Select which audio channels are included. Footage is captured directly to your hard drive and you choose what to share.

Maybe reading the announcement before making suggestions could be handy

Why do you believe that Steam will not store it somewhere else in the cloud without your consent, or "accidentally" record desktop audio/video?

This may depend on the platform you are using Steam on.

For me, on Linux, the 'Record Audio from..' is locked to 'All System Audio', but on my Windows 10 machine, I can select from either:

Game Audio Only
All System Audio
Game and Selected Programs

That last option appears to be what the original poster is looking for. An option to select both their desired game and Discord together (though I haven't tested this). But maybe they are on a platform that doesn't support the feature as of current (hopefully that is a temporary limitation).
