Can't move steam window
usually you can drag and drop any window and when it's full screen and you drag it down it automatically goes to small screen, and you can easily change the location to a part of your screen.

This is no longer possible for me, also, i can't move the location of the steamclient window when it's on smallscreen (after clicking the buton in the top right next to mimize and close)

hitting the close button and reopening steam didn't work to fix the problem. Clicking "steam" in top left and clicking exit, and then restarting did fix the problem

I can't move it either, which is a shame but it will probably get fixed

Same here cant move Steam window using the usual click on title area and drag. Although if you have multiple monitors and you want to move it to another you can still hold Shift + Windows key and then use the left or right arrows on keyboard.

Opened steam in Small Mode and had the same issue. Couldn't move window around the desktop. The fix was to restart steam.

I had the same problem but this should be posted as a bug report.

Hey y'all.

Don't know if the problem is related to mine but I thought I'd write it just incase.
I turned on UTF-8(Beta) in windows 11 and I was then unable to move the steam window around after restarting my pc. I don't think UTF-8(Beta) is the exact problem cause I don't think a user would normally go through those settings unless they were looking for them.
It did fix after I turned it off and restarted my PC. Sadly, I don't know the exact issue.

Anyways, maybe this can help someone.

For users who want to check anyways: It's in "Time & language" > "Administrative language settings" > "Change system locale..."
The checkbox should be right in there.

Same problem but the clicking from top left menu bar and selecting close from there like in older windows before restarting worked for me as well. Closing from taskbar or tray won't do the trick.

Same problem. Can't even see the window. It's just some borderless thing, no way to grab or resize any of it.
How the heck did they mess up windows ?

Entering Big Picture mode then exiting fixes it for that session in w10 22H2.
