Taskbar icon no longer has the green download progress bar

not sure if this is an intended change to remove it but the icon use to have a green progress bar for downloads and some other stuff for notifications but that seems to no longer be the case. not sure if its bugged or removed anyone else able to see it?

I can confirm this. No more yellow (for paused downloading) or green (for showing download progress) icon indicators are visible. I found it helpful when doing some other things to see whether the download finished in the background.

yea ive noticed this too and its upsetting as i really liked the feature, hopefully they bring it back or its a bug

I sometimes forget that the green bar is gone and since Downloads start automatically (also a bs anti qol feature) when steam is launched. so randomly my internet is super slow and i remember that steam is downloading something and next thing I know I've downloaded 6gigs of something i didn't want to download. please for the love of god either dont do downloads on startup or bring back the green icon
