Missing "Backup and Restore Games" option.

In the old UI, Clicking on "Steam" in the top left corner of the client would reveal an option for backing up and restoring games.

Clicking on this option would open a windows asking if you want to backup or restore a game. This same window would allow you to backup all your installed games at once instead of one at a time manually.

This particular option seems to be missing and/or replaced with "Restore Game backup", and only the manual method exists. The ability to bulk backup installed games does not seem to exist in the new UI.

It would be nice if this was still available to do in the new UI as it would make backing up multiple games much easier.

I recently tried to reinstall a game using this method and was met with the same issue, I hope they do fix it soon because I'd rather not install it over internet again.

I just bought a new computer. Steam cloud says all my files are synced. Downloaded all my games onto new computer. Open games. All save points are from when I last backed them up. 6 months ago. On my old laptop I can play with my current saves. Steam says all files are synced with a big green checkmark. But all the games on my new laptop are save files from months ago. They are my saves, but old af. Whhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Because Valve left the implementation of the Steam Cloud in each game to the discretion of the developer / publisher - because of this, games can have too little cloud volume (as a result, you only get a backup of the first 20-30 saves + one autosave (which is usually the save that which you need to avoid because the game went wrong)

Yep, This problem happened to me too. Last month I was able to use the '-vgui' command to go to the previous version of steam so that I could use the function, because it worked correctly.

There are also more issues with the new steam UI client such as:

-Impossible to change the taskbar right click preferences ( it's not in the client settings > interface > Set taskbar preferences )
-The steam controller software update / recover firmware is missing ( I still have and use the steam controller but it's not possible to update the firmware anymore, not through steam itself)
-Game related: L4D2 crashed to desktop if you try to open the in game overlay ( linux tested issue )

I think I'm forgetting a few more , should have wrote them down or smth.

Yes, the function in order to backup the games is insappeared without no reasons. Now, we have to backup the game one by one and possibly to re-install them one by one, just to make things "easier" to the user. Generally speaking, we are in a phase in wich the updates of programs and apps are worse then the previous versions.

I'm not opt in for beta, but i have this issue as well.
I can't believe steam does this.

Any detailed guide how can I put the vgui command?

-vgui (it steam client main API \ engine)was completely REMOVED almost YEAR ago
