Unable to click links, interact with displayed page, particularly in community news

When I go to notifications or community, and less frequently any other page, I can't scroll, click anything, or interact with the page in any way. I have to leave the page and come back. Sometimes three or four times, and then suddenly the page will work. I have no issues in my browser or with apps. Feels like Steam just froze and I had to check other running applications to make sure it was just Steam. I am also experiencing significant display lag, even now, just typing.
I am using SteamClient020 on linux. I have also noticed the steam hardware survey is not correctly detecting my hardware. I have an HTC Vive but the survey says no VR detected. Doesn't detect all of my drives,. Other minor issues. Games have been working fine.

Yep, I'm having the same issue, except I'm on Windows 11, the latest Insider Build.

Many aspects of the client simply don't respond to clicks. Sometimes the X button to close the steam window doesn't even work. Clicking the notifications icon does nothing, or the announcements.

Most of the time when I start steam, it loads up to a black window, and I have to click "Library" to make my library show up.

It's completely messed up at the moment.

couple reloads usually fix the freeze
only had this for online-pages so far

Same issue here; all webhelper pages (like the Store tab, the Community tab and the Profile tab) are completely inaccessible and unusable.

Similar situation on the below configuration. Interface "Start up location" is set to "Library" in the settings. Upon initial startup "Library" tab responds normally to mouse input. However after clicking on the "Store" link, page elements on the store page and scrolling with mouse stops working. Menu links like Store,Library,Community, etc are still functional and subsequently switching to Library and back to Store page restores normal mouse functionality. This is KDE Plasma/Wayland on EndeavourOS.

When I start my computer and Steam Client (Shop by default at start) I can't clic on anything until I enter on my library and then on another item or return to the shop, and all start working again.
Another bug is, when I minimize the client with the shop open for a few minutes, when I return to Steam the shop screen is black. I have to clic on another item (like the library) and then the shop reloads and shows the items.
