Steam overlay web browser keyboard shortcuts?

The steam overlay has recently been updated and it's been improved in many ways. But what bothers me and I can't believe has not been implemented is the ability to use standard keyboard shortcuts within the browser.

For example:

• ctrl + l / alt + d - focus the url bar
  
• ctrl + w - close a tab
  
• ctrl + t - open a new tab
  
• ctrl + shift + t - restore a tab
  
• alt + left / right arrow - go backward / forward
  
• ctrl + tab - go to the next tab
  
• ctrl + shift + tab - go to the previous tab
  
• ctrl + r - reload

and more

Admittedly, I haven't tried all of those, I don't have steam installed on the computer I'm using right now.

Can this feature please be implemented?

I have been accustomed to keyboard shortcuts from other browsers for many years and it also puzzles me that there are no such shortcuts in the Steam browser. For example simple F3 to search next result. This would greatly improve the use of guides, for example.

Agreed! I keep trying the following shortcuts out of habit, as they're in every major browser. But in Steam Overlay's browser, they don't work.
- Alt + D to focus the address bar
- Ctrl + T to open a new tab
- Ctrl + W to close a tab
- Ctrl + Shift + T reopen a closed tab
- Ctrl + R to reload

And with the recent addition of bookmarks to the overlay's browser, Ctrl + D would be a nice addition, as this shortcut usually adds the current page to your bookmarks. Now that bookmarks have been added to the browser, they at least let us know that they're still improving the browser. Let's hope shortcuts get added soon!
