Why have you hidden the BROWSER settings?
NO easy to find place to delete cache, cookies etc, and no way to not use the POS google startup page (that is nothing but a massive COOKIE popup).

So basically, if you don't want to use the Steam Overlay, you can no longer clear the cache.
Wow.

I'm beginning to believe someone should be fired for gross incompetence over this whole mess. Notably whichever suit in charge thought it was a good idea to push this pre-alpha state piece of trash on the entire user base.

pretty much yes. A tad over a month in "beta" is way to short for such a massive change.
Just browsing the beta forums gives you an idea how stupidly too soon this was pushed out

No, the In-Game section of Settings in the desktop client has it in there too, it's just not the first tab of the settings and as easily noticeable right in your face as it is in the in game one.

but you are not In game when you want to clear the cache / cookies in the Browser. Having that function in the IN GAME menu of the client is stupid as heck. It should be under BROWSER like it's been for ages in the "old" client.

The whole Settings menu is a mess now with functions in the most illogical places.

If I pick steam/settings in the client and then pick the "In Game" menu, I see the delete web cache/cookie.
