there will be an option saying "Shared from your Steam Family member <friend's name>. Change preferred copy"
I had the same problem, however I don't see the option to "change the preferred copy" even though there are 3 owners of the game in the family and only 1 of them was playing at the time.
Yeah I have the same problem with dying light 2, but in my case:
we have 2 copies and even if anyone is playing it my firend can't play it because it says that somebody else is alredady playing

The Batman Arkham games, whether the ones installed or not... doesn't happen to any other game. Don't know why.
My friends and I are having a similar issue to this but with some Call of Duty games (IW and Black Ops 1 to be specific). Did you find a way to change preferred copy on the games that had no button for them?
