Gyro issues on the new Horipad for Steam
I would like to report a problem with the gyroscope in the new Wireless Horipad for Steam. The problems occur when I use the controller in wireless mode, when the controller is hooked up with a cable, everything works fine. When I use the Gyro to Mouse[beta] mode, the cursor behaves normally (there is a slight delay, but it's probably due to the bluetooth), unfortunately, every few seconds the cursor can randomly jump a few centimeters, this happens whether my movements are fast or slow and is very annoying. When I use the classic Gyro as mouse mode, the cursor no longer jumps randomly, but its movements are very jittery, something like it moves at 20fps. I tested this on three different computers and on two Horipads for steam. I also changed the bluetooth dongle to 5.4, unfortunately nothing helped. Please take care of this problem, especially since it involves an officially licensed steam product. A lot of people on the internet are reporting similar problems with the gyroscope on this pad.

I've got the same issue with the Horipad. Honestly, I have no idea how to fix it, and I'm just waiting for a software update to sort it out.

Same - hopefully there will be a firmware upgrade..

Same.
Same issue, happens only over bluetooth on Linux, works fine wired and on Windows. Moving the controller further away from my computer during pairing seems to help (calibration picks up the blips), but makes makes games unplayable. Submitted a support request with Hori in hopes they can push a software fix

Funny thing, when using REWASD gyro works just fine, so it's 100% steam input issue. It's shame that not a single steam dev has taken an interest in this topic. Probably they just don't care.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ same problem. Fix this ♥♥♥♥ please
It looks like the latest steam beta might've fixed this - no longer getting huge jumps. Not sure if its related to the 'Gyro to...' change for high polling rates or what, but getting super stable gyro now on Linux (Bazzite desktop).

It worked very well, but i think they broke it again xD

I think I fixed it with gyro_prediction_enabled 0
To run Steam console commands, enter "steam://open/console" without quotes in WIndows Run (Win+R shorcut). I think you have to run this command every time you launch Steam, so I'll have to find a way to keep it on.

Now my problem is that gyro mouse movement feels slow, like the polling rate is too low with gyro in wireless mode - game feels like it's running at 30 fps or below. In wired mode movement is smooth. Anyone else?
