XBOX APP FOR PC (GAMEPASS) games with steam game recording?

Any way to add games from xbox app for pc to record them? You can add any exe files to use steam overlay with, but xbox app games use different exe-files to start game, so i can't find a way to connect them with steam overlay. Any solutions?

You add the Xbox app.exe to steam and then launch games through that if there is anyway that works this is it.

Check out the tool UWPHook. It simplifies the process of adding those type of games as non-Steam games.

It does not help with game recording, only shows in steam that non-steam game is open.
Steam overlay does not work with this method.
