Audio of other sources often or always having a lot of crackling sounds in them

Whenever I speak or my mate on Discord you can hear it crackle in the recording. A few Steam updates prior it was only Discord and not my own Mic. These issues can't only be happening for me?

Got the same issue aswell. And another guy from July had it too. Weirdly enough if I check the Audio Setting in Steam and Test my Microphone it sounds crisp with no weird artifacts :(

Oh lol, took me 1min to check on the Discussion Board. Some people claim it works if you disable "Automatic Gain Control" in the Steam Recording Settings. We can try if that works

Having the same problem and tried that, didn't make a difference.

Strange, I have to try around this evening when I play with my friends. It's really weird.
