And you know that this quickly? Didn't it give you any (new) clues? I guess you could've provided info on what you already checked for?

well it only happens on 1 pc so i cant see why it would be that
but when i change account it does not do that

When changing account (Steam acc. i presume)? From what i've seen this is a software/hardware error, not an account error. So yeah, strange indeed.

Bing in one browser is not the same when opened in another browser [sigh].
In Edge DEV the top-result gives a better explanation then in Edge release, Firefox or Brave browsers.

To give an overview:

Error Code -108 can be caused by different reasons such as corrupt system files, outdated Windows operating system, improper connectivity, or bugs and glitches in the graphics drivers that prevent the computer from recognizing the headset12. If you see Error 108 while using QuickBooks, it only means there's a message from your bank or credit card on their website3. To fix this error, you can try repairing corrupted system files1.

In one case it was as simple as a faulty USB-plug for the VR headset. Do you use one?

Well then, the QuickBooks issue comes close to an account issue. Actually, it is an issue with the bank transferred via the to quickbooks connected bank account. If you would have bank acc., credit or debit card connected to that Steam account, you might wanna check your online financial account for an important message that may block it's connection to Steam. Resolve the issue there and then reconnect to Steam.

And Facebook & YouTube connected to Steam. Game/software/Movie accounts connected to Steam. perhaps one of them could cause such an issue.
