Suggestion: Private Wishlist or Private items on Wishlist

I'm liking the private games feature in the beta. it's nice to know I can hide embarrassing games from friends. I'd like to keep embarrassing games on a wishlist to know when they go on sale and keep them private, whether that's a separate private wishlist, or a privatizing function on the wishlist. My current solution is following these games I'm interested in but 1) That doesn't hide them from the activity feed, 2) My feed is now just those games I followed, plus I never see any details of my friend's activity, and 3) If the game never gets updated, I'll never see it again to remember even what it was.

These are some thoughts for what more can be done with the Private Games Feature. I'm just trying to shield my friends who wanna buy me gifts, but didn't expect to see some H-game on my wishlist.

Well summarized, we really do need an option to private the Wishlist along with the privacy update. If you make your games public and then separately private certain games your Wishlist is public and there is no way to make it private unless you private all your games.

You're absolutely right. I'd like parts of my profile public for my friends to see, and then parts private meant for myself. My use of Steam is skewed with the need to go to such lengths with it's current features.
