Steam voice chat stuck on connecting

Voice chat is stuck on connecting and reconnecting with me and my friend

Same issue for me and one of mine for the last hour. Restarting both steam, our PCs and our modems/routers did not fix it.

Same issue. My other friends were able to use the chat just fine, but for some reason mine just wouldn't connect.

Same tried their troubleshoot page which didn't help so I sent a help request and all they did was point me back to the troubleshoot page.

Started having this issue last night. 4 of my friends including myself got DC'ed from VC and no troubleshooting seems to be working at the moment. I'm assuming it is something on Steams end. All ports forwarded, no updates needed, firewall is open and allowing access, restarted PC and router, still wont connect. Can confirm that it is exclusive to Steam VC as in game chats and Discord are all working perfectly.
