Exiting Big Picture causes Loop Crash

ISSUE
When in Big Picture Mode and you select power/exit big picture mode, this causes a loop crash trying to go back to normal steam.

OS
Ubuntu 23.10
Nvidia 3080
Nvidia drivers 535.129.03
Steam Runtime Version: steam-runtime_0.20231024.64411

STEPS

Enter Big Picture Mode
Hit ESC key, select Power, Exit Big Picture Mode
Loop Crash--looks like it's trying to draw Steam full screen and shrinks down and starts over again, very fast. Doesn't stop.

RESULTS
I have to stop/exit Steam

EXPECTED
Exiting Big Picture Mode should take you back to Steam with out the looping crash

Yep, it’s been this way for months. There’s another user in here (Xenophobe) that’s been reporting it with no response from Valve as of yet.

Hope we get noticed. Wouldn't want to to get out of beta this way. Thanks for the info.

I have a similar problem. Steam crashes everytime when ending BPM and a game is still running. In the past it just switched back to normal steam view.
