Why is the new steam interface so slow and buggy ?

Before the new "fresh style" of steam I don't have any problem, but now I have to offline/online 1 time from steam friends every time I start steam if I want to see if my friends are playing cs2 or csgo because. Even sometimes I have to re-start steam completely juste to see my friend list.

+ every time I want to open a new tab of the store, market, or user profile via counter-strike overlay, it's SOOOO SLOW, even sometime I just give up because the page don't load after 10 secondes.

Before, everything was super fast and instant. It's not my connection because I'm not the only one with thoses bugs, and I recently formated my pc and I have exactly the same result.

Anyone know how to optimise all that stuff ? I just want a light and fast steam client like before, because I don't know what is all that new stuff that make steam so slow, but I don't use it i think. (I use library, community, market, store, workshop and forum.)

- Bad platform choice (CEF)
- Bad framework choice (ReactJS)
- Bad design choices
- Bad programming

The recipe for the perfect disaster.
And no, there is no way to optimize this mess. The only way is to rewrite everything from scratch with a better direction. Something that i really doubt will happen.

Yes, the old client was not perfect, but are least worked well and with a good range of features, and was designed with usability in mind.

In the new one basically EVERY feature is downgraded, borked or less usable. Not mentioning the huge amount of resource used and (worst of all) how the client can cause problems with its main purpose : launch games.

A gigantic, epic fail of gargantuesque proportions.
