Maybe time to offer free cloud saves?

I'm talking purely from a steam fangirl perspective... But maybe it's time for steam to offer free cloudsaves for every game instead of charging devs for a consumer-friendly feature?

I'm getting iffed as ♥♥♥♥ by ubisoft not having cloudsaves feature that actually mean cloudsave...

It would increase consumer sattisfaction to know their saves are "safe" with steam cloud saves instead of the unreliable and poorly implemented ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ubisoft solution.

In an ideal world ubisoft would pay steam for their superiour cloudsave technology, but in real life ubisoft keeps pissing on consumers while their cloudsaves keeps getting lost in the ether

Cloud save is already free for developers. Every feature on Steam is free, from the beginning.

Devs only have to pay a 100$ fee for publish a game, and Steam earn 30% of each transaction. But there is no paywall to use any of Steam features.

And the $100 is recouped after the game sells $1,000.
