New Steam UI doesn't open anymore. Steamwebhelper not responding?

New UI worked fine for me, but now it complains about Steamwebhelper not responding when I try to open it.

Reinstalling Steam fixed it, but only while I was still on the old UI, now on the new one it happens again? Have to restart Steam with browser sandboxing disabled for it to open.

Am on windows 10 if that helps?

I am also experiencing this with the latest update. Steam absolutely will not load without Browser Sandboxing disabled. On W11 here.

My friend got this problem too yesterday and I Fixed it.
If u got the similar issue, Steamwebhelper.exe not responding, or can't open steam any more. Follow these...
1. reboot ur computer
2. reinstall Steam into C disk (the default location)
I fixed it at the second step

For me... New Steam UI doesn't work when it was installed in the disk D
But work in disk C. it's the same SSD though.

Same issue here, I have to restart Steam with browser sandboxing disabled for it to open, I am on windows 11.. have you got a solution?

Does Steam start correctly after u disabled browser sandboxing.
If so, try to delete the browser cookies in Settings.

I have Steam installed on my C drive, but it wont boot without sandboxing disabled. Every time =/

I tried everything but it didn't work, this all happened when I changed the language on steam to Indonesian and since then steam is like an error and now 2 days steam is not responding because steamwebhelper.exe is not responding at all.

Can anyone help me about this or just waiting from the developer to update next?

delete everything about steam including the cache in AppData folder and then reinstall it, if this doesn't work, u should report this to Steam Support.

now time to make dxdiag.log and post here(on to steam support) links to pastebin with dxdiag.txt, bootstrap_log webhelper_log cef_log connection_log and maybe few other logs from Steam\logs\
