overlay browser and tabs

the in-game browser keeps opening previously closed tabs. Is there a way to have an option to only open the last visited tab or none at all except for the start page?

+1, I find it really annoying when closing the overlay browser it doesn't close all the tabs like 99% of other browsers or the old steam overlay. Could add a prompt to ask like other browsers if you want to close all tabs.

Yes, it should save the layout previously used in this game.
I think it would be not problem to safe a layout for each game seperatly and automatically.
It's basically just a few lines code and takes up unrecognizable amounts of ressources.

@you tuned into 102.3 nuke radio, if you press the hotkey button for the Steam-Overlay again it will close all windows. At least on my end. Maybe this helps.

! ALSO - Some scroll sliders are not working for me. For example the one in the achievment window (Ashes of the Singularity - Escalation) !

Maybe I wasn't being clear enough in my first comment. Currently if you close the web browser in the steam overlay and you reopen it all the tabs from the previous time you had it open are still there. When I close the web browser I want it to also close all the tabs so the next time I open the steam browser it's only opening 1 new tab.

There was an update less than a month ago that changed the overlay and steam look/layout for me, and this started happening with me too. Super annoying. Is there no setting to revert back to the old system where pressing the x on the top right corner of the browser would close all tabs permanently instead of bringing them up next time still?

Yes please. It even started playing audio from a video I had open when last I used the browser once I launched a game. I hadn't even opened the browser upon this launch and it resumed the video presumably because I didn't click the X button before shutting down the game previously.

Terrible design choice.

bump. not that it matters since the overpaid valve employees don't care, didn't care to fix anything in the beta, and won't read this. The volunteer janitors will though, but they don't contribute to the issues.
