Option to disable sale notifications

The short of it: I already get emails for Sales, I'd rather keep my notifications for when there's a forum post or a chat message waiting.

I remember a while back, I would get one Steam email every now and then that listed the games on sale, now it seems like I get multiple emails in a day, which would be fine on its own, but that they pop up on my computer now as well, and light up the notification icon, which prior to this was reserved for things like forum posts and messages. Sales aren't worth immediate attention, I'll see them in my email and look through them all in one sitting, and dislike having to "clear" my notifications every time there's a game on sale in case something that actually needs my attention should appear.
