or just a 3rd party app store thing
Considering the sheer amount of podcasts I listen to while playing whatever, this is an interesting idea.
It's probably a fairly big ask, but this would be the ideal way of doing it. I got no interest in a Spotify widget, but I do have an interest in Pocket Cast and Tidal. Most of these widgets would probably be created by 3rd parties, and let's be honest, this is often for the better.
And with it being in a widget store or something similar, it could be expanded far beyond just controlling some music, which is an alt tab away.
