The new in-game overlay is not transparent
The new in-game overlay doesn't seem to be transparent on my PC. I see on screenshots that it is supposed to be transparent.

Is there a toggle somewhere for this that I am not seeing? Or a known issue?

Hello, I had the same problem.
I fixed it by deleting the "skins" folder from the steam folder. I assume the problem is caused by older skins trying to overlap with the current design. I hope it helps :lunar2019piginablanket:

It should be on "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\skins"

if you can't find it, it probably means that you never downloaded a skin for steam in the first place. if that's the case, I don't know how to help :winter2019sadsnowman: sorry
