I receive several Vulkan shader updates a day for the same title.
Is there any benefit for the user to receive more than one Vulkan shader update per game, per day?

It's certainly nice that at least the ridiculous download size has been corrected a while back, but I don't see the point in having more than one shader update per day. Plus I have no way of knowing if this is a bug duplicating the same shader, if it is a new one, and if it is, will it benefit game play performance since the last one I got earlier in the day.

Each time I finish playing a game for a bit, I exit Steam, and either power off my computer, or log into another user account. When I come back to Steam at any point, I'll quite often get Vulkan shader updates for games that already got one earlier in the day. I've seen this happen up to four times in a day for the same game. One could still argue that even though the update is a small file size, it is still a waste of bandwidth if a user has bandwidth caps on their internet connection.

Operating System:

Kernel: 6.4.6-1-MANJARO arch: x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: Xfce
v: 4.18.1 Distro: Manjaro Linux

Steam Version: 1690583737
Steam Client Build Date: Fri, Jul 28 2:44 PM UTC -05:00
Steam Web Build Date: Fri, Jul 28 6:21 PM UTC -05:00
Steam API Version: SteamClient020

Steps to reproduce:

Start the Steam client.
Observe which games receive Vulkan shader updates in the downloads section and let them fully process in the background.
Possibly play a game for a bit, then exit Steam. (Though I suspect just exiting Steam once all the shaders are done processing, and restarting Steam later in the same day will reproduce this.)
Restart Steam later in the day and observe which games once again receive Vulkan shader updates.
Repeat as much as needed.

Results:

Steam often downloads Vulkan Shaders for the same game more than once a day that have to be processed.

Expected:

Unless these shader updates will provide vastly better performance than the one downloaded and processed the first time I opened Steam for the day, and it is not a duplicate download, then this really should not happen more than once a day, per game.

It can be disabled on last options in parametes/downloads, I have same problem (updates every moment that I open a game) and I'm so bored with it.
