New Notification Bell in the client stays green

Please sync the status of notifications across clients/browsers properly.
If I go straight to my inventory after claiming a new sticker in my Chrome browser, or after opening a bonus card pack, I've effectively read that notification already, but in the Steam Desktop Client the bell stays green.

EDIT: Not to mention notifications generally appear/get pushed a bit slower in the new client compared to the old one. The old UI would show that there's a new notification almost immediately upon getting a new item/opening a pack/etc.
