Steam Input Giving Unexpected Controller Button Behaviour With Gen3 Xbox One Type Controller

Using Steam for windows beta on win 10 and Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro controller have been seeing many issues and just found pressing B for back as shown in button prompts at bottom of new big picture screen do not work like expected. Often when i press B it opens main menu which just pressing guide button should show those settings as this is shown at same time as the B is for back ui action; so steam input thinks i am pressing Guide button when i am not as B mostly opens main menu instead of just going back a screen/button/section in ui i.e. secondary ui action. This mostly happens on newbigpicture home screen/library.

There is no way to see what layout config Steam Input is using or any way to define layout, edit layout or save layout as different controller type when using newbigpicture as this seems different from the big picture config found from oldbigpicture or large mode general controller settings.

There is so much wrong with Steam Input i could write a book in describing every issue but trying to just focus on the back button thing i found when using newbigpicture to navigate to guide button chord global config i could not see what the large mode equivalent shows but could see A button is set to show quick settings if guide button is held. Which could be contributing to what is mentioned in first paragraph. i.e. steam input might be thinking guide + a are being pressed when B is pressed.

What Steam Input shows as an "action set" in newbigpicture ui is shown as a gyro mapping in large and oldbigpicture with regards changes made for Guide button behaviour to fix steam overlay and steam screenshots.
Which could be contributing to what is mentioned in first paragraph.
Ironically pressing Guide button and B makes B go back one space/section/button like expected.

which highlights recent firmware updates for xbox controller drivers to work on xbox and pc platforms caused issues with Steam Input and gen3 xbox one type controllers with share button to not have a working share button or have the buttons/paddles on back mappable.

Steam Input seems to be speaking to child driver instead of parent driver though Steam Input has written steambox.sys drivers to both devices shown for the one controller in legacy control panels devices and printers. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2900328812
