Steam Controller disconnects mouse and keyboard
So my Ps4 Controller was just fine for years but since a few days it keeps disconnecting. Its in all games from time to time, but most common in the main menu from Elden Ring. Whats realy odd is that my mouse and keyboard and even my streamdeck disconnect and reconnect after some seconds. Also the sound starts to stutter.
I notice that steam seems to reload the controller profil every time this happens.

I tried another USB cable, Ps4 Controller and port but i still have that problem.

Has anyone the same issue or can help?
Thx for reading!

Could this be USB port/bluetooth problems?
Windows: Run the bluetooth troubleshooter
Check USB thingies
Mac
Whatever ♥♥♥♥ keyboard combination to check bluetooth
Linux
(Insert mission impossible theme)

Is it the controller itself?
Any drivers needed?

Contact sony (or whatever company PS runs on) and ask about it/

This sounds suspiciously like a voltage drop and all your USB devices losing power.
What amount of slack do you have on your PSU's listed output vs max consumed?
Could be, esp. if it's lower quality or really old, that it's been degrading and can no longer keep up if it barely supplied enough juice to begin with.

Could be all the USB devices use too much power for the PC.

The problem was the USB driver. I reinstalled them. Everything works fine now.
Thx for your posts!
