I can log into desktop but only via inputting a code as i do not receive a qr code "no link".
Edit: to add "no link" plus Phone and os.
Samsung A21s Android 12
I could be related to your phone and why Valve asked for the phone model and os.
I have a Samsung A21s Android 12- code log in (yes) - qr code link (not showing).
Okay so I fixed the issue. So turn off you pc wifi, then login into steam via offline mode then proceed to go to settings and opt opt out of the beta this will return back to normal and you can log back in.
Gaben help i cannot survive without my steam library.
Well there type "ipconfig /release" that makes your internet connection go down. keep the prompt up and fire up steam and go offline mode. settings and opt out of beta for now. Back to cmd and type "ipconfig /renew" to hook up again to internet and let steam update to the standard steam client and you're all good to go!
Update to post #1 - I can log into desktop but only via inputting a code as i do not receive a qr code "no link".
NOTE: qr code link is available via browser.
Had app already installed. Got the update. Chose to uninstall and go back to public. Only issue with public is that the My Recovery code screen is messed up with a partial android logo and no recovery code viewable. NOTE: recovery code screen is fine on beta.
Switched back to beta to continue testing - qr code link now available on desktop and sign in was successful. A glitch in the matrix?
1. Turn off wifi
2. Login to steam via offline mode
3. opt out of beta
once steam has updated you can log back in.
UPD: found solution here
Wasn’t able to reproduce this my end.
