Storage manager: cannot delete a steam library folder

In the "old" interface, you could delete steamlibary folders. however in the "new" layout, folders deleted in the "old" interface still show up. Manually deleting the folder via windows explorer and restarting steam removes it from the storage manager, however recreating the folder in windows explorer and restarting steam shows the folder again in the storage manager, even when 2 folders are on the same disk.

eg: F:/SteamLibary and F:/Games, i can't seem to delete "F:/Games" from the storage manager, even when deleting this folder manually in windows explorer, or when switching to the old layout, removng "F:/SteamLibrary", adding "F:/Games", removing "F:/Games" and adding "F:/SteamLibrary" again, then switch back to the "new" layout -> "F:/Games" is still there.

There should be an option to disable or remove a library under the gear menu.

Im having the same issue as Sarge, as I had a library removed on the old UI but it has reappeared after the beta update. And can't remove it now.

We will fix it that removing an empty folder will permanently delete it

Any idea when you'll fix it? It's more than a year and it's still happening.

So the Library you want to remove is empty? If so, it'll probably be best to write a fresh bug report.
I'll check things out later and see how things are working for me.

It's possible to do things manually:
- Quit Steam (I've never tested without doing this, I assume its required)
- Open with a text editor [STEAM INSTALLATION] / config / libraryfolders.vdf
- Find the Library to be removed and delete it's index and entry from the file
- Save & close
