I first noticed the drift while using the gyro in my Destiny 2 config. Then I enabled gyro on my desktop config to do further testing. I tried setting gyro to always on or just on trigger pull. The drift occurred with both settings and consistently moved the cursor to the left with small up and down jitters.
I also tried closing Steam and testing the gyro in both JoyShockMapper and DS4Windows. The gyro drift occurred in both programs, however running calibration in JoyShockMapper successfully fixed it and adjusting the deadzone in DS4Windows worked as well.
So, it seems that the gyro in my controller is definitely a bit off in the output it's sending, but it's able to be corrected depending on the software.
I'm pretty sure Steam had calibration and drift correction for the Steam Controller and Dualshock 4, so I'm wondering if it just hasn't been implemented in the beta client yet.
got a fix yet?
