How can i check the battery level of the controller?

Doesn't seem like there's a way at the moment.

Just charge it every once in a while. It lasts like 14 hours.

how are you charging your dualsense? its taking forever to me, like 10% an hour.

plug it into a phone charger

I just plug it into my phone charger.

Don't charge it via USB port on your PC, it's much slower.

How do you know if the controller is fully charged? Say, I put it on charge for the night, will it be overcharged and damage the battery?

The orange light will stop breathing when it's fully charged.

When I plugged into my PC, the orange light was breathing before I launched steam, once it's detected by steam, the light would not breath any more

Ds4windows will show the battery charge in 10% steps.

thats normal, happened to with the ds4, yesterday i plugged it to the wall socket for the first time, and it charged way faster than the 7 hours it took from 0% to 100%, the orange light showed up too.

lol it takes forever to charge when I plugged into PC port and it doesn't charge at all when plugged into wall outlet

You probably have a weak power brick. I charge my DualSense with my Pixel 3a's charger.

I tried with PC (USB 3.0 port) and Pixel Charger ( Type C power delivery ) and both seem to charge my DualSense at 2.5W (probably 5V@500mA).
With my phone charger it takes 3.75 hours to fully charge.

I think the PS5 ports charge the joystick at 4W-5W because they say it takes 2 hours and a half something like that.

me too. When I connect dual sense to laptop usb 3.0, its charging is very slow, as if it is not charging.
But when I connected it to Apple's 5W adapter, it charged about 10% within 15 minutes.
