Can someone explain steam's stance on Adult content?

Okay so previously we went by the Community Guidelines found here.

In this it says do not post any of the following:
Porn, inappropriate or offensive content, warez or leaked content or anything else not safe for work

So that means no porn in your art section, screenshots, or avatar. Basically do not put porn on steam's servers.

Now however we have two new things confusing me, as is my namesake, we have the steam auto-filter bot that scans content for: excessive violence, sexual things, gore, etc and it blurs it out unless you click yes to see it or turn those filters off in your settings. The second thing we now have in the chat client beta is the ability to quickly upload content directly to chats. Does this content follow the community guidelines too?

If anything is allowed on steam save for illegal materials why would the STORE PAGE, the most PUBLIC thing about steam be okay with porn yet user content is not? Steam legally should be able to allow porn posting from users because your age is required for an account, steam legally covers their own butts doing this.

So my question is, how is this going to be handled going forward now? Will lewd avatars rule the day once more? Will profile content be eased up on? Why is it okay to post porn on the store page and in group chats but not on your profile? And what of those still actively getting banned over this?

That does not help at all.

In that discussion it only shows how random steam bans things, this isn't helpful and even the mod in-question was confused.

Is there even a report post feature? Pretty sure all reports must be manual.

They can report it through your profile and support will have all the logs on their end.

There is no option to do so.
