Lmao ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ , new steam UI sucks balls . Valve the new google/youtube

Remember how many bad revisions youtube has gone through? Where they change the UI to "worse" without actually consulting their userbase? That's what google ownership brought to youtube, one terrible user interface after another, the sheer corporate arrogance when you're at the top and care very little about what your customers think about you.

It looks to me Valve has just joined those ranks.

You can go back to the normal look, i cant remember the commands, but its in the start options for steam

all this grouping by games and favorites or popular is so dumb, i dont care whats popular with them, i have over 200+ friends, all of which i may or may not play with at the moment because theyre off on a game i cant run, all the people im currently playing with are somehwere at the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bottom becuz the grouping is stupid, i want a go back button or a DOWNGRADE THIS ♥♥♥♥ button u feel?

Why does it look like a mobile version with these HUGE buttons and tabs that take away half of the chat window?

Yeah I totally agree. It's why I don't use any of the Google / YouTube features that Google want me to. So in response to being treated poorly I cookie block, adblock etc. All unnecessary if Google would listen to the users instead of the devs doing what THEY think it best.

My solution that I will think about for 2 days is to unfriend everybody, and exclusively use Discord instead. At least the Discord guys listen to their user base. Amirite?

+1 They turned Youtube into Googlevideo which everyone hated and laughed at.

Now valve are turning steam into ORIGIN by EA.

For those who don't like the forced Steam Beta Cient on you, there's a way to rollback by typing the following commands in the shortcut properties of your Steam.exe.

-nochatui -nofriendsui
