Copy Paste Pastes as 1 line into Not pad and has huge spaces everywhere else

One of the last updates made Saving Text chat on Steam a real pain It now pastes into Note Pad as 1 long line of constant text with time stamps . And into word pad with gaint spaces between posts . This makes saving progress on Text RPGs with friends or even simple ideas nigh on impossible Please make it work like old steam Chat or at least like it did before the last few patches. Where it pastes posts and lines down not all across as one jumbled line of crazy .

This should be fixed with the next update to chat. The changes to copy/paste formatting that I put in doesn’t format the end of lines in the way that notepad expects so it ends up pasting as one jumble like that. In the meantime pasting into more featureful editors like Notepad++ should work as expected as well as first pasting into Wordpad then re-copying from there to paste into notepad (it should paste without the spacing between lines when pasted back into notepad).
